Our Vision: To glorify God by doing His work in helping to meet the immediate needs of women and children worldwide and to equip them to be able to meet their future needs.

School of the Good Samaritan

Originally founded by a group of people in Michigan in 1984 who wanted to help underprivileged children get a good Christian education and also learn about the Gospel of the Lord, The School of the Good Samaritan was founded and assists over 700 Honduran children. The school has been in existence for 18 years.  The children who attend the school are all lucky enough to be sponsored by the grace of God. In addition the school offers “scholarship” funds, those funds go to support more than 60 students that have achieved academic success and gone beyond the 6th grade.

The major goal of this project is to provide the children with a quality education emphasizing Christ, and to improve their physical, mental, and spiritual well being. Also to help improve the economic growth and build up a community of leaders that will provide support for the betterment of their county. Two examples of success from the school include a graduate of the program who now lives in the United States and is sponsoring a child, and another one who graduated from the school and who is now sponsoring his nephew. Through Christ we can do many things through his love and strength. These are just a few examples of how critical proper education in impoverished countries can be.

The Fathers Table helped purchase a piece of land for a future junior high school. The Good Samaritan School continues to thrive and be a successful Christian ministry and is gaining strength.
