In one of the most remote corners of the Himalayas, near the Nepalese border with Tibet, underprivileged children are desperate for quality education in a clean and caring environment. The Himalayan Youth Foundation (HYF) has made that it's primary objective in this rugged region of ancient mountain villages, rich wildlife, and soaring snow-capped peaks.

HYF is committed to moving Himalayan children from illiteracy and deprivation to a sustainable ability to develop useful and transferable life skills, skills which will ultimately enable them to better provide for their families, preserve their rich native culture, and to participate fully in the development of their country.

The Father’s Table Foundation has recently funded a first-ever Program Director position to direct the educational efforts as well as assisting in the cost of feeding children there for two years.
